Lady of Leisure

I came across an old picture of my mother standing in her favorite place in our home; her formal sitting room. Although her hectic work schedule didn't allow her to spend much time there, she decorated it with such love and intention. It was her space that only a very short list of people could share. Filled with ornate furniture and beautiful bouquets of flowers, my mom and her girlfriends would fill the space with laughs, their special brand of girl talk, and prayers.
